The plant that was making these formulas decided not to renew their EU Certification. Don’t be alarmed as the recipe that has worked so well for you all this time is not being changed.

Preservatives in any of VéRUS Pet Foods Canine Dry or Canned Formula's.
None of our canine formulas are persevered with ethoxyquin or contain Menadione.

up to date ingredient labels for all of our formula's.

It is very important that you store VéRUS All Natural Pet Foods properly if using a plastic container!
Plastic absorbs oil. Oils from the food can leach into the plastic and become rancid, thereby contaminating the next batch of food. Oils turn rancid when exposed to heat, light and or air. The best method is to store VéRUS All Natural Pet Foods in its original bag. If you just "dump a fresh bag" into your container when needed; the residual oil that settles on the bottom of the container can spoil. The bottom of the last bag is now beyond its shelf life, which is the date stamped on the bag. This spoiled oil may contaminate any fresh food added to the container, causing vomiting or diarrhea when fed to your pet. So storing your food in a container instead of its original bag, is not the end of the world. Just be sure to wash the empty container with soap and very hot water. Allow the container to dry completely before adding food from a new bag. This guarantees that the new bag of food will stay fresh and your pet will stay healthy. After all, that's why you're buying VéRUS!
